Abrasive Wheel Training Ireland

Our Abrasive Wheel Training Course is a half-day programme designed to give learners a clear understanding of the hazards and risks associated with working with abrasive wheels. It also provides the practical knowledge and skills required to safely and correctly mount and use abrasive wheels.

On completion of this course, learners will be able to:

Outline the legal requirements for working with abrasive wheels
Select the correct wheel or cutting disc for specific tasks
Safely mount and operate an abrasive wheel
Understand the functions of both fixed and portable abrasive wheels
