Telescopic Handler Course

The aim of this SOLAS CSCS Telescopic Handler Course is to equip learners with the practical skills, knowledge and understanding required to safely operate a telescopic handler on construction sites.
This course is designed to provide participants with the training needed to operate a telescopic handler safely and efficiently while complying with current health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
On successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the legal and safety requirements for telescopic handler operation
- Carry out pre-use inspections and routine safety checks
- Safely operate and manoeuvre a telescopic handler in a range of site environments
- Lift, transport and place loads safely and efficiently
- Identify workplace hazards and apply safe working procedures at all times
On successful completion of the course, participants will receive a QQI Certificate and a CSCS Telescopic Handler Operator Card.
